Beef Tongue Braise
Indulge in the succulent tenderness of slow-braised beef tongue, a carnivore delight bursting with rich, hearty flavors!

Ingredients:
– 2 lbs beef tongue
– 4 oz beef tallow
– 2 cups beef bone broth
– 2 tsp garlic powder
– 1 tsp onion powder
– 1/2 tsp black pepper
– Salt to taste

Directions:
1. Rinse the beef tongue under cold water and pat dry with paper towels.
2. Heat beef tallow in a large Dutch oven over medium-high heat.
3. Sear the beef tongue on all sides until browned, about 5 minutes per side.
4. Pour in the beef bone broth, then season with garlic powder, onion powder, black pepper, and salt.
5. Bring the liquid to a simmer, then cover and reduce heat to low.
6. Braise the beef tongue for 3-4 hours until tender, adding more broth if needed.
7. Once tender, remove the beef tongue from the pot and let it rest for 15 minutes.
8. Slice the beef tongue thinly and serve with the braising liquid.
