Indulge in the decadence of tender lobster poached in butter and served with a luxurious tarragon cream sauce that will elevate your seafood dining experience to new heights!
Ingredients:
– 2 lobster tails (6 oz each)
– 1 cup unsalted butter
– 1/2 cup heavy cream
– 2 tbsp fresh tarragon, chopped
– Salt and pepper to taste
– Lemon wedges, for serving
Directions:
1. Using kitchen shears, cut the top of the lobster tails lengthwise and remove the vein. Gently loosen the meat from the shell, keeping it attached at the tail.
2. In a saucepan, melt the butter over low heat until it starts to foam but does not brown.
3. Add the lobster tails to the pan, ensuring they are fully submerged in the butter. Poach for about 5-7 minutes until the meat is opaque and cooked through.
4. Meanwhile, in a separate saucepan, heat the heavy cream over low heat. Stir in the chopped tarragon and season with salt and pepper.
5. To serve, place the lobster tails on a plate and drizzle with the tarragon cream sauce. Serve with lemon wedges on the side.
