- 2 cups mixed chocolate chips and chunks
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and line baking sheets with parchment paper.
- Cream the butter and sugars together in a large bowl using an electric mixer until light and fluffy.
- Add the eggs and vanilla extract, beating well after each addition.
- In a separate bowl, whisk together the flour, oats, baking soda, and salt.
- Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients, mixing until just combined.
- Fold in the chocolate chips and chunks.
- Scoop the cookie dough using a cookie scoop or spoon onto the prepared baking sheets, spacing the cookies about 2 inches apart.
- Bake for 10-12 minutes, or until the edges are golden but the center is still soft.
- Remove from the oven and let cool on the baking sheet for 5 minutes before transferring to a wire rack to cool completely.
Notes
- For a chewier texture, you can add an extra 1/4 cup of flour.
- If you prefer a less sweet cookie, reduce the granulated sugar by up to 1/4 cup.
