Chicken Liver Pâté

Ingredients:
– 16 oz chicken livers
– 8 oz unsalted butter
– 1 small shallot, finely chopped
– 2 cloves garlic, minced
– 1 tsp thyme
– Salt and pepper to taste
Directions:
1. In a skillet, melt 2 oz of butter over medium heat.
2. Sauté shallot and garlic until translucent, about 3 minutes.
3. Add chicken livers and cook until browned on the outside but slightly pink inside.
4. Season with thyme, salt, and pepper.
5. Transfer everything to a food processor and add the remaining butter.
6. Blend until smooth and creamy.
7. Spoon the pâté into ramekins and refrigerate for at least 2 hours before serving.
