Ingredients:
– 1 lb fresh strawberries, hulled and sliced
– 1/4 cup granulated sugar
– 2 cups all-purpose flour
– 1/2 cup sugar
– 2 tsp baking powder
– 1/2 tsp salt
– 1/2 cup cold unsalted butter, cubed
– 2/3 cup milk
– 1 tsp vanilla extract
– Whipped cream, for serving
Directions:
1. Preheat the oven to 425°F (220°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
2. In a bowl, combine sliced strawberries with 1/4 cup of sugar. Let it sit for at least 30 minutes to macerate.
