Grilled Branzino with Preserved Lemon & Herbs
Impress your guests with this elegant dish featuring tender grilled branzino infused with the zesty flavors of preserved lemon and fragrant herbs.
Ingredients:
– 2 whole branzino, gutted and scaled (about 1 lb each)
– 1 preserved lemon, thinly sliced
– 2 tbsp fresh parsley, chopped
– 1 tbsp fresh dill, chopped
– 2 cloves garlic, minced
– 2 tbsp olive oil
– Salt and pepper to taste
Directions:
1. Preheat the grill to medium-high heat.
2. Make 3 diagonal cuts on each side of the branzino. Season inside and out with salt and pepper.
3. Stuff the cavity of each fish with preserved lemon slices, parsley, dill, and garlic.
4. Brush the fish with olive oil to prevent sticking on the grill.
5. Grill the branzino for about 5-6 minutes per side until the flesh is opaque and easily flakes with a fork.
6. Serve hot, garnished with extra herbs and lemon slices.
