Honey-Lavender Glazed Duck Breast
Indulge in the aromatic flavors of honey and lavender paired with succulent duck breast for a gourmet dining experience at home.
Ingredients:
– 2 duck breasts, skin on
– 3 tbsp honey
– 1 tsp dried lavender
– 1/2 tsp salt
– 1/4 tsp black pepper
– 1 tbsp olive oil
Directions:
1. Score the duck breast skin in a crisscross pattern, being careful not to cut into the meat. Season both sides with salt and pepper.
2. In a small bowl, mix honey and dried lavender. Brush the mixture over the skin side of the duck breasts.
3. Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium-high heat. Place the duck breasts skin-side down and cook for 6-8 minutes until the skin is crispy.
4. Flip the duck breasts and cook for an additional 4-6 minutes for medium-rare doneness.
5. Remove the duck from the skillet and let it rest for 5 minutes before slicing.
6. Drizzle any remaining honey-lavender glaze over the sliced duck before serving.
