Kongnamul Muchim (Seasoned Bean Sprouts)
Experience the crunch and zest of this Korean favorite featuring the perfect blend of soy, sesame, and spice!
Ingredients:
– 10 oz bean sprouts
– 2 cloves garlic, minced
– 1 tbsp soy sauce
– 1 tbsp sesame oil
– 1 tsp sesame seeds
– 1 green onion, thinly sliced
– 1/2 tsp sugar
– 1/2 tsp gochugaru (Korean red pepper flakes)
– 1/2 tsp salt
– 1/2 tsp vinegar
Directions:
1. Blanch bean sprouts in boiling water for 1 minute, then rinse under cold water and drain well.
2. In a bowl, mix garlic, soy sauce, sesame oil, sesame seeds, green onion, sugar, gochugaru, salt, and vinegar.
3. Add the bean sprouts to the mixture and toss until well coated.
4. Chill in the refrigerator for at least 30 minutes before serving.
5. Garnish with additional sesame seeds and green onion before serving.
