Maple-Mustard Glazed Easter Ham
Bring a sweet and tangy twist to your Easter table with this Maple-Mustard Glazed Ham that will have everyone asking for seconds!
Ingredients:
– 8 lb bone-in ham
– 1 cup maple syrup
– 1/2 cup Dijon mustard
– 1/4 cup brown sugar
– 2 tbsp apple cider vinegar
– 1 tsp garlic powder
– 1/2 tsp ground cloves
– 1/2 tsp black pepper
Directions:
1. Preheat the oven to 325°F (165°C). Score the surface of the ham in a diamond pattern.
2. In a bowl, whisk together maple syrup, Dijon mustard, brown sugar, apple cider vinegar, garlic powder, ground cloves, and black pepper.
3. Place the ham in a roasting pan and brush it generously with the maple-mustard glaze.
4. Cover the ham with foil and bake for 1 hour. Remove foil, baste with more glaze, and bake uncovered for an additional 30-45 minutes, basting every 15 minutes.
5. The ham is done when it reaches an internal temperature of 140°F (60°C). Let it rest for 15 minutes before slicing and serving with extra glaze on the side.
