Molten Chocolate Cakes
Indulge in the gooey, molten center of these individual chocolate cakes that are perfect for a decadent dessert experience!
Ingredients:
– 6 oz semi-sweet chocolate, chopped
– 1/2 cup (1 stick) unsalted butter
– 1/4 cup all-purpose flour
– 1/2 cup powdered sugar
– 2 large eggs
– 2 egg yolks
– 1/4 tsp salt
– 1 tsp vanilla extract
Directions:
1. Preheat oven to 425°F (220°C). Grease and lightly flour 4 ramekins.
2. In a microwave-safe bowl, melt chocolate and butter in 30-second intervals, stirring until smooth. Let cool slightly.
3. Stir in flour and powdered sugar until well combined.
4. In a separate bowl, whisk eggs, egg yolks, salt, and vanilla until frothy.
5. Gently fold the egg mixture into the chocolate mixture until just combined.
6. Divide the batter evenly among the prepared ramekins.
7. Bake for 12-14 minutes until the edges are set but the center is still soft.
8. Let cool for 1-2 minutes before carefully inverting onto plates.
9. Serve warm, dusted with powdered sugar or a scoop of vanilla ice cream.
