Rhubarb Clove Cobbler
A delightful twist on a classic cobbler, this rhubarb and clove dessert will warm your soul and tantalize your taste buds!
Ingredients:
– 4 cups rhubarb, chopped
– 1 cup granulated sugar
– 1 tsp ground cloves
– 1 cup all-purpose flour
– 1 cup brown sugar
– 1/2 cup rolled oats
– 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted
– Vanilla ice cream, for serving
Directions:
1. Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C) and grease a 9×9-inch baking dish.
2. In a bowl, combine the chopped rhubarb, granulated sugar, and ground cloves. Mix well and let it sit for 15 minutes.
3. In another bowl, mix the flour, brown sugar, oats, and melted butter until crumbly.
4. Spread the rhubarb mixture evenly in the prepared baking dish.
5. Sprinkle the flour mixture over the top of the rhubarb.
6. Bake for 35-40 minutes or until the top is golden brown and the rhubarb is bubbling.
7. Serve warm with a scoop of vanilla ice cream.
