– 2 cups fresh strawberries, diced

Directions:
1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 9×13-inch baking pan.
2. In a large mixing bowl, cream together the butter and sugar until light and fluffy.
3. Beat in the eggs, one at a time, then stir in the vanilla extract.
4. Combine the flour, baking powder, and salt in a separate bowl. Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet mixture, alternating with the milk.
5. Gently fold in the diced strawberries until evenly distributed in the batter.
6. Pour the batter into the prepared pan and smooth the top with a spatula.
7. Bake for 25-30 minutes or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
8. Allow the cake to cool in the pan before dusting with powdered sugar.
