Strawberry Sorbet
Indulge in the refreshing sweetness of homemade strawberry sorbet – a delightful treat for hot summer days!
Ingredients:
16 oz fresh strawberries, hulled and halved
1/2 cup granulated sugar
2 tbsp fresh lemon juice
1/4 cup water
Directions:
1. In a blender, combine strawberries, sugar, lemon juice, and water. Blend until smooth.
2. Strain the mixture through a fine-mesh sieve to remove seeds, pressing down to extract all the liquid.
3. Pour the strained mixture into a shallow dish and freeze for 2 hours.
4. After 2 hours, use a fork to scrape and stir the partially frozen sorbet, breaking up any ice crystals.
5. Return to the freezer and freeze for an additional 2-3 hours, or until firm.
6. Scoop into bowls or cones and enjoy the fruity goodness!
