Strawberry Tart

Ingredients:
– 1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
– 1/2 cup unsalted butter, cold and cubed
– 1/4 cup powdered sugar
– 1 egg
– 1 lb fresh strawberries, hulled and halved
– 1/2 cup strawberry jam
– Fresh mint leaves for garnish
Directions:
1. Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
2. In a food processor, pulse together flour, butter, and powdered sugar until it resembles coarse crumbs.
3. Add the egg and pulse until the dough comes together.
4. Press the dough into a tart pan, covering the bottom and sides evenly.
5. Bake the crust for 15-20 minutes until lightly golden. Let it cool.
6. Spread a thin layer of strawberry jam over the cooled crust.
7. Arrange the halved strawberries on top of the jam in a circular pattern.
8. Heat the remaining jam and brush it over the strawberries for a shiny glaze.
9. Chill the tart for 1 hour before serving. Garnish with fresh mint leaves.
