Peach Cobbler Ice Cream

Ingredients:
– 2 cups fresh peaches, diced
– 1/2 cup sugar
– 1 tsp lemon juice
– 1 cup whole milk
– 2 cups heavy cream
– 3/4 cup brown sugar
– 1 tsp vanilla extract
– 1/2 tsp cinnamon
– 1/4 tsp nutmeg
– 1 cup crumbled pie crust
Directions:
1. In a saucepan over medium heat, combine peaches, sugar, and lemon juice. Cook for 5-7 minutes until peaches are soft. Allow to cool.
2. In a large mixing bowl, whisk together milk, heavy cream, brown sugar, vanilla extract, cinnamon, and nutmeg until sugar is dissolved.
3. Add the cooled peach mixture into the cream mixture and stir well.
4. Pour the mixture into an ice cream maker and churn according to the manufacturer’s instructions.
5. During the last few minutes of churning, add in crumbled pie crust pieces.
6. Transfer the ice cream to a container and freeze for at least 4 hours before serving.
