Sweet Tea Iced Cookies

Ingredients:
– 1 cup unsalted butter, softened
– 1 cup granulated sugar
– 1/2 cup strong brewed sweet tea, cooled
– 1 egg
– 1 tsp vanilla extract
– 3 cups all-purpose flour
– 1 tsp baking soda
– 1/2 tsp salt
Icing:
– 2 cups powdered sugar
– 3-4 tbsp strong brewed sweet tea, cooled
– Lemon zest for garnish

Directions:
1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
2. In a mixing bowl, cream together butter and sugar until light and fluffy.
3. Beat in the egg, sweet tea, and vanilla extract until well combined.
4. In a separate bowl, whisk together flour, baking soda, and salt. Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet mixture, mixing until a dough forms.
5. Roll the dough into balls and place them on the prepared baking sheet. Flatten each ball slightly with the bottom of a glass.
6. Bake for 10-12 minutes until the edges are lightly golden. Allow the cookies to cool completely.
7. For the icing, mix powdered sugar and sweet tea until smooth. Drizzle the icing over the cooled cookies and sprinkle with lemon zest.
